April Moreau is a director with a passion for comedy. She is an alum of the Commercial Directors Diversity Program, the AFI Directing Workshop for Women (AFI DWW+), and the University of Michigan, where she earned a BFA in Acting. She has proudly directed work for Arm & Hammer, Bic, Klarna, and more.
April began her career as an actor, starring in more than ten national and regional commercials while also performing improv and sketch comedy at Groundlings & UCB. She then stepped behind the camera to direct digital comedy shorts, which achieved viral success on platforms such as Funny or Die and Elizabeth Banks’ WhoHaha. On the narrative side, April's work has played at Oscar-qualifying festivals and has been distributed on major streamers. April serves as the Co-President of the University of Michigan Entertainment Coalition and is a proud member of the Alliance of Women Directors and Film Fatales. |
